Burger Drop

Burger Drop

Step across burger ingredients to drop them down toward the plate. Chain drops by stacking ingredients onto each other for combo bonuses. Beat the timer.

How to play

Three horizontal platforms are joined by two ladders. Burger ingredients (each three cells wide) sit on the platforms. Swipe to move the chef: left/right walks along the current platform, up/down climbs a ladder when you're standing in a ladder column between two platforms.

More: full rules and tips

When the chef walks across all three cells of an ingredient, the ingredient drops one platform down. If it lands on another ingredient, that one immediately drops too — and so on, chaining all the way to the plate at the bottom. A chain of N drops in one event scores 50·N² points instead of 50·N, so setting up vertical stacks pays huge.

Deliver every ingredient to the plate to clear the level; each new level scatters the ingredients differently. You start with sixty seconds. The clock starts with your first touch. The first clear adds thirty more, and every clear after that adds two seconds less than the one before, until clears add nothing. When the clock hits zero the run ends.

Tips & strategy

Tread the top ingredient first. Every ingredient is three cells wide on a five-cell platform, so ingredients on neighbouring platforms always overlap — a falling ingredient always knocks the one below it down too. Treading the top one first sends all three down in one chain for 50·9 = 450; treading that same ingredient again chains two more for 200, and its last drop is 50. Work from the bottom up instead and the same level pays six separate 50s, only 300.

Don't waste a step. Each cell of an ingredient only needs to be visited once — walking back and forth on a single cell wastes time. Plan the trip so the chef enters one end of an ingredient and exits the other, treading every cell exactly once before climbing down.

Ladders are your scheduler, not your scenery. You only have two ladders and you spend almost as much time on them as on the platforms. Choose which ladder to climb based on which ingredient you want to land on next — climbing down on the wrong side often means a long detour across a platform. The chef's path is the puzzle.

Speed is the whole game. Because the chain always works, every level played top-first is worth the same 900 points — 700 from drops plus the 200 clear bonus. What separates runs is how many levels you clear before the clock runs out, and from the sixteenth clear on, clearing adds no time at all. Swipe the next move as soon as the chef lands; a swipe made while the chef is still moving is ignored.
