Color Echo

Watch the pattern, then repeat it. Each round adds a color.

How to play

The board flashes a sequence of colors. Tap them in the same order.

Each round adds 1 color to the sequence. Get it right to advance.

One wrong tap ends the game. Highest level wins.

Tips & strategy

Color memory survives much longer when you stop memorising colours and start memorising movement. Instead of "blue, red, red, yellow", let your finger trace the shape the sequence makes across the buttons โ€” a little zig-zag or a square. The hand remembers a path far more reliably than the mind remembers a list, especially once the chain passes six or seven steps.

Watch the flashes calmly without mouthing the colours; subvocalising actually slows you down and eats working memory. Repeat the sequence at a steady, unhurried pace rather than rushing, because a single mis-tap ends everything regardless of how fast you were. If you blank near the end, replay the rhythm of the flashes in your head โ€” the timing often jogs the order loose.
