Number Memory

Memorize the number, then type it back. Each round adds one digit.

How to play

A number appears for a moment, then disappears.

Tap the digits you saw on the keypad below, in order.

If correct, the next number is one digit longer. One mistake ends the game.

Goal: reach the longest number you can.

Tips & strategy

Raw digits are forgettable, so the trick is chunking โ€” group the number into pairs or threes the way you say a phone number, turning "4 7 1 9 2 6" into "47, 19, 26". Three chunks are far easier to hold than six loose digits, and the longer the number grows, the more this saves you.

Speak the digits to yourself in a steady rhythm while they are on screen, because sound sticks in short-term memory better than a silent glance. Familiar pairs help too: read "19" as an age, "26" as a date, anything that gives the number meaning. When entering, type at the same pace you rehearsed rather than racing โ€” a single wrong digit ends the run, so the safe, rhythmic recall always beats a rushed one.
