Notes drop down four lanes — tap the lane as each note crosses the hit line.
The play area is split into 4 vertical lanes with a hit line near the bottom. Coloured notes drop down the lanes; tap a lane while its note is in the band around the line to clear it.
A cleared note scores +1, or +3 for a PERFECT in the narrow centre of the band. Every cleared note adds to your combo, and every 10th note in a row adds a +5 bonus. Tapping a lane with no note in the band, or letting a note fall past the band, costs 1 of your 3 lives and resets the combo.
Notes fall faster with every point you score, without limit, and they come more often during the first minute. Every screen size sees the same falling time and the same hit band.
Goal: highest score.
Keep your eyes high on the lanes, near where the notes appear, not down at the hit line — by the time a note reaches the bottom it is too late to react, so reading the incoming pattern early is the whole skill. Let your fingers handle the hit zone by feel while your gaze stays ahead spotting what is coming.
Aim for PERFECT timing rather than just clearing notes, because hitting within the tight inner window scores triple and builds a combo that snowballs your total. The two killers are tapping a lane with no note and letting a note fall through, both of which cost a life, so never stab in panic — a missed beat is safer than a wild guess. There is no song to follow — the notes arrive at random — so as the speed climbs, judge each note by where it is, not by a beat you expect; calm, deliberate taps outlast frantic mashing.
