Polarity

An original one-tap arcade. You are a charged particle drifting between two magnetic walls. Tap to flip your polarity and steer left or right, threading through the gap in each scrolling barrier. It speeds up the longer you survive — how far can you get?

How to play

Your particle sits low on the screen and is always drifting sideways. Its colour is its magnetic charge: red is pulled toward the red wall on the right, blue toward the blue wall on the left. Tap anywhere to flip the charge, which reverses the way you drift — so a well-timed series of taps steers you left and right like a pendulum.

Barriers scroll down from the top, each with a single gap somewhere across it. Line your particle up with the gap so it slips through cleanly; touch any solid part of a barrier and the run ends. Every barrier you clear is one point.

The twist is momentum: flipping does not stop you instantly, it just starts pulling you the other way, so you have to anticipate and flip early. The scroll speed creeps up the longer you survive, leaving less time to line up each gap. Tap New to start again and push your best score higher.

Tips & strategy

Flip early, not late. Because your drift has momentum, the particle keeps coasting in its old direction for a moment after you tap, so commit to the next gap before you are under it, not when you are already drifting past.

Read two barriers ahead. The gap you are aiming for matters less than the one after it — if the next two gaps are far apart, start drifting toward the second while you slip through the first, or you will never make the swing in time.

Use small corrections near the centre. A rapid double-tap barely changes your heading but kills sideways speed, which is perfect for fine-tuning your line into a narrow gap instead of overshooting it with one big drift.

Respect the speed-up. Early on you have all the time in the world; once it is fast, every gap demands a decision a beat sooner. Stay near the middle of the screen when you can, so you have room to swing either way for whatever gap comes next.
