Cells

An eat-and-grow arena arcade. You are a tiny cell in a world of food and other cells. Swallow anything smaller than you to grow bigger, and run from anything larger before it swallows you. The bigger you get the slower you move, so endless growth is a gamble. How massive can you become?

How to play

Touch and drag anywhere on the screen to steer your cell. It moves toward your finger, and the further from the centre you drag, the faster it goes; small movements let you nudge gently for precision.

Scattered around the arena are dots of food and dozens of other cells of every size. You can eat anything clearly smaller than you simply by moving over it โ€” each meal adds to your mass. The food dots are safe, easy growth; eating a rival cell is a big jump but means getting close to something that might not stay smaller for long.

The danger is any cell bigger than you, outlined in red as a warning. If it overlaps you enough, it eats you and the run is over. The catch that makes the game tense is speed: the more mass you carry, the slower you move, so a huge cell can be cornered by faster small ones, and you can never fully relax. Your score is the mass you reach โ€” chase a new record and tap New to dive back in.

Tips & strategy

Farm food when no one is bigger nearby. Food dots are risk-free mass and there is always plenty around, so cruise through clusters of them whenever the coast is clear instead of hunting risky rivals. Steady grazing wins more runs than greedy chases.

Respect the red outlines. Any cell drawn with a red ring can eat you. Keep a wide buffer from them, and remember they accelerate toward you when you are close โ€” never skim past a bigger cell to grab one more dot.

Use your speed while you are small. Early on you are nimble; that is the time to chase down slightly smaller cells for big jumps. Once you are huge you become a slow target, so bank easy growth early rather than gambling everything late.

Don't get cornered against the border. The red world edge limits your escape routes, and a bigger cell can pin you there. Fight for the open middle of the arena where you always have somewhere to run.
