A classic digging action game. Tunnel through a cave of soft dirt to scoop up glittering gems, then slip out through the exit — all while heavy boulders hang overhead, ready to drop the instant you clear the ground beneath them. Dig boldly but never dawdle under a falling rock. Collect enough gems on each level to dig deeper into ever more dangerous caves.
Your little digger sits in a cave packed with brown dirt. Use the four arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen to move it — tap an arrow for a single step, or hold it down to keep moving. Pushing into dirt clears it and lets you through, opening up tunnels wherever you go.
Scattered through the cave are cyan gems. Move onto a gem to collect it. A counter shows how many you have and how many you need; once you reach the target, the exit door lights up green, and stepping onto it finishes the level and drops you into a fresh, tougher cave.
The grey boulders are the danger. A boulder stays put as long as something solid sits directly beneath it, but the moment that support is gone — because you dug the dirt out, or moved a boulder away — it falls straight down, and keeps falling until it lands on something. Boulders also roll sideways off the top of other boulders. If a falling boulder reaches the square you are standing in, you are crushed and lose a life. So never tunnel straight up under a boulder and stop there: clear a path and step clear before it drops.
You can also push a single boulder horizontally, as long as the square on the far side of it is empty, which lets you clear blocked passages. You have three lives; lose them all and the game ends. Gems and cleared levels both add to your score, so dig efficiently and go as deep as you can.
Read the ceiling before you dig. Every boulder is a future falling rock, so glance up before tunnelling: if there is a boulder right above the dirt you are about to remove, clear it from the side and keep moving instead of stopping directly underneath.
Dig sideways into a boulder, not up into it. Approaching a boulder from the side lets you tunnel past it safely, and if the far side is open you can shove it out of the way. Coming at one from below is how you get crushed.
Make falling boulders work for you. A boulder you drop into an empty shaft clears the dirt and obstacles below it, and a boulder pushed over a gap can open a route you could not dig. Just be sure you are not standing in the landing zone.
Grab the easy gems first and don't be greedy. You only need to reach the target count, not collect every gem, so plan a loop that picks up the safe ones and heads for the exit. Chasing one last diamond tucked under a wall of boulders is how good runs end early.
