Drop discs into columns. Connect four in a row to beat the bot.
Tap a column to drop your red disc into the lowest empty cell. The yellow bot replies.
Connect 4 of your discs in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to win the round. Lose or draw and the streak ends.
The bot blocks obvious threats and prefers the center โ beat it back to back.
Goal: chain wins as long as you can.
Whoever owns the centre column owns the game, because more winning lines pass through the middle than anywhere else. Spend your first discs there, and from then on always scan for double threats: a placement that creates two separate three-in-a-rows at once is unstoppable, since the bot can only block one of them.
Defence is just offence in reverse โ every turn, check whether the bot has three in a line with an open end and plug it before you do anything ambitious. Diagonals are the threats players overlook most, so trace them deliberately, not just the obvious rows and columns. Watch out for "trap" squares too: dropping a disc that hands the bot a winning slot directly above is a common way streaks end, so think about what your move leaves on top.
