Tap pairs that sum to 10
Tap pairs that sum to 10
Tap two numbers that sum to 10. As many pairs as you can in 60 seconds.
A 5ร5 grid is filled with digits from 1 to 9. Tap two cells whose values sum to 10 (for example 3 and 7). Both cells clear and are immediately replaced with new random digits.
A tap on the already-selected cell deselects it. A tap on a cell that doesn't pair simply moves your selection there.
You have 60 seconds. Each successful pair scores +1. New game resets the grid and timer.
Goal: as many pairs as possible.
Speed comes from thinking in complements, not in individual numbers. Train your eye so that the instant you see a 3 your brain is already hunting for a 7, a 4 looks for a 6, a 9 for a 1, and so on; the only self-pair is 5 with 5. Once that reflex is automatic, the grid stops being twenty-five separate digits and becomes a field of waiting partners.
Because cleared cells refill instantly with new digits, keep your eyes roaming rather than fixating on one corner โ fresh pairs appear constantly where you just cleared. Settle into a rhythm of scan, tap, tap, scan and do not freeze hunting for the "best" pair; in sixty seconds, a steady stream of easy matches far outscores careful searching. If your first tap lands on a cell with no partner in view, just retap to move your selection rather than wasting the pairing.
