Tap a group of 2+
Tap groups of two or more same-color bubbles to pop them.
The board fills with colored bubbles. Tap any group of 2+ connected same-color bubbles (up/down/left/right) to pop them — a group of N scores (N-1)². Remaining bubbles fall and empty columns slide left. Clearing the whole board adds +500.
Each level has a target score (shown as Goal). Reach it to advance: a fresh board appears with a higher target and more colors. If no group of 2+ remains and you haven't reached the goal, the game ends.
Score = levels cleared.
The scoring is the whole strategy: a group of N scores (N-1) squared, so a single ten-bubble pop is worth eighty-one points while ten separate two-bubble pops give only ten. That quadratic curve means you should resist popping the moment you see a pair and instead grow colours together, holding out for one giant clear rather than nibbling.
Plan from the bottom up, because popping a low group drops everything above it and slides columns leftward, which you can use to merge separated patches of the same colour into one huge group. Always keep an eye on whether a move will strand a lone bubble with no same-coloured neighbour, since those become dead weight. Clearing the entire board is worth a +500 bonus, so when you are close, work out the order of pops that leaves nothing isolated behind.
