Tap a peg to select
Jump pegs over each other to remove them. Aim for one peg in the center.
33 holes are arranged in a cross. 32 pegs fill every hole except the center.
Tap a peg to select it — its legal destinations light up. Tap a destination (an empty hole exactly 2 cells away with a peg in between) to jump: the selected peg moves there, and the jumped peg is removed.
Each jump scores +1. A perfect game ends with a single peg left in the center for a +5 bonus.
The game ends when only 1 peg remains, or when no legal jumps exist (you got stuck).
Goal: highest score. Maximum 36 (31 jumps + center bonus).
The classic mistake is jumping wherever you can; instead, work toward keeping the pegs clustered so you always have follow-up moves, because a peg stranded alone in a corner can never be removed. Think of the cross as filling inward — clear the outer arms in a way that funnels pegs back toward the centre rather than scattering them to the rim.
The hardest skill is foresight: a jump that removes one peg now can isolate two others you needed, so trace a few moves ahead before committing. Aim deliberately for the perfect finish, a single peg landing in the very centre hole, which awards a +5 bonus on top of the 31 jumps. If you feel a clump forming with no exits, redirect immediately — symmetry helps, so mirror successful sequences across the board to keep your options balanced.
