Tap cells to place / or \ mirrors

Mirror

Place mirrors on the grid to redirect the laser from the source to the target.

How to play

A green source on one edge fires a laser into a 6×6 grid. A red target sits on another edge. Some cells are walls that block the beam.

Tap any empty cell to cycle a mirror through three states: empty → / → \ → empty.

/ mirror: right-bound light bounces up; left bounces down; up bounces right; down bounces left.
\ mirror: right bounces down; left bounces up; up bounces left; down bounces right.

When the laser reaches the target, the level is cleared and the next one auto-generates. The score is the number of levels you clear.

Goal: highest level count.

Tips & strategy

Do not place mirrors at random — trace the laser's actual path from the source and see where it naturally travels, then work out where it first needs to turn to head toward the target. Equally useful is working backwards from the red target: which direction must the beam arrive from, and therefore which cell needs a mirror angled to deliver it there?

Remember exactly how each mirror bends light: a "/" sends rightward light up and downward light left, while a "\" sends rightward light down and upward light right. Hold those two rules in mind and you can plan a turn without trial and error. Walls block the beam, so use them as fixed constraints that often force a single sensible route. When the path almost connects, look for the one cell where a single mirror redirects the beam the last leg to the target rather than rebuilding the whole chain.
