Hopper

Hop forward as far as you can. Dodge cars, ride logs across rivers. Endless terrain.

How to play

Tap anywhere to hop one square forward. Swipe left or right to hop sideways.

The terrain alternates between safe grass, busy roads with cars moving across, and rivers with logs floating across. Touching a car ends the run. Stepping into water without a log under you ends the run too. Standing on a log carries you with it — but if the log floats off the side of the screen, you go with it.

There's no time limit. Your score is the highest row you reach. The further you go, the faster the cars get and the trickier the river spacing becomes.

Tips & strategy

Don't hop until you've read the next two rows. Most deaths happen because the player committed forward into a row that looked clear, only to be hit by a car that was about to enter the screen from the side. Stand still on grass for a beat, watch the car spawn pattern across the next road, and only commit when you've timed the gap that's about to arrive — not the gap that's currently visible.

River rows reward patience even more than roads. A log moving across at the wrong speed will carry you off-screen if you stay on too long; one moving too fast in the wrong direction won't be there when you land. The strategy is to wait on grass until a log is right at your column, hop onto it as it passes, ride one step or two, then immediately hop to the next log or grass — don't ride a log all the way across just because it's convenient. Sideways hops on a log let you transition between logs without ever touching water.

Sideways hops are free. They cost no forward progress but let you re-position to align with the next car gap or log. Beginners only hop forward; the longest runs use sideways hops aggressively to set up safe forward hops one or two rows ahead of where they actually are. If a row looks dangerous from your current column, slide one square sideways and look again — almost every row has a safe lane somewhere.
