♥♥♥ · Drag from the ball to shoot

Hoop

Swipe to shoot the ball through a moving hoop. The hoop speeds up with every basket.

How to play

A basketball hoop slides left and right at the top. The ball sits at the bottom.

Press on the ball and drag in the direction (and power) you want to shoot — slingshot style. Release to launch.

The ball follows an arc (gravity). If it falls into the hoop from above and passes through the rim, you score +1 and the hoop speeds up. Otherwise you lose 1 of 3 lives.

Goal: most baskets before 3 lives run out.

Tips & strategy

The hoop is always moving, so you cannot aim where it is — you must aim where it will be when the ball arrives. The shot is a slingshot arc under gravity, which takes a beat to travel, so lead the hoop: launch toward the spot it is sliding into, not the spot it occupies as you release. Watch its rhythm and time your shot as it drifts toward your aiming line.

Power and angle work together to control that arc, so find a consistent pull that drops the ball cleanly down through the rim from above, then keep reproducing it while only adjusting for the hoop's position. The ball must fall in from the top, so a high, soft arc that comes down into the basket is far more forgiving than a flat, hard shot that clangs off the rim. Each basket speeds the hoop up, so commit to your timing early rather than hesitating as the window tightens.
