Helix Drop

Drag the ball left or right. Line it up with the gap in each rising platform. Miss once and you're done.

How to play

The ball sits at a fixed height while platforms scroll up from below. Each platform has a single narrow gap somewhere along its width — drag your finger left or right anywhere on the screen to slide the ball over that gap before the platform reaches you.

If the ball passes cleanly through the gap, you score +1 and keep going. If the ball lands on the solid part of any platform, the run ends — there is no recovery.

The scroll speed increases the longer you survive, so the gaps come at you faster and the margin for error shrinks. Your score is the number of gaps you cleared.

Tips & strategy

Look at the platform after next, not the one approaching. The next gap is easy — you can correct your aim with a flick. What kills runs above score 30 is locking your eyes onto the immediate gap, then realising the one behind it is on the opposite side of the screen with no time to cross. Train your eye to plan two platforms ahead so your movement never gets stuck reactive.

Don't chase the centre. Most players instinctively return to the middle of the screen after each gap, which means every wide gap costs them two big movements: out to the gap, back to centre, out to the next gap. The successful runs stay loose: park the ball wherever the next gap is going to be, not where the last gap was.

Speed up your micro-corrections, slow down your big ones. As the scroll speed increases, small one-pixel-style nudges happen unconsciously and that's fine — but a big sweep across the screen needs to start earlier than your panic instinct says. The runs that crash at score 40+ are almost always the ones where the player saw the wide-side gap too late and oversteered into the wall. Read early, move smoothly, never panic.
