Roam a tight maze gobbling dots while four hungry ghosts close in — grab a power pellet to flip the script and chase them down for the big score.
Swipe in any direction (up/down/left/right) to set your move queue — you'll turn at the next intersection that opens that way. Eat every dot to clear the level. The four large pellets in the corners are power pellets — eat one and ghosts turn blue and flee for a few seconds; touch them to eat them for bonus points. Catch ghosts in quick succession for a higher multiplier. A ghost touching you (when you're not powered) costs a life. Three lives. Clear the board to advance with a faster ghost pace.
Power pellets are not for eating the instant ghosts appear near you — they're for setting up a multi-catch. Lure two or three ghosts toward a corner pellet before you bite it; you'll get the ×2 ×4 ×8 chain instead of a single +200. The best players hoard pellets for the final ghost density of each level.
Intersections decide everything. Ghosts only re-pick direction at intersections too, so if you have just been past one and they have not, you have a small window of safety. Use that window to take a guaranteed-empty corridor over a dotted-but-risky one.
Don't sprint blindly into the densest dot patch. The reward is constant per dot, but the risk is highest where corridors are short and ghosts can pincer. Save dense patches for when you're already powered, or when you've routed away the closest ghost.
Ghost respawn is your timer. When you eat a ghost it returns to the pen and re-emerges after a short delay. If the level still has many ghosts active, eating them frees the board for several seconds — that's your window to grab the dots in the most contested corridors.
