The threat to your lives is balloons escaping off the top, not bombs — a bomb that floats away costs you nothing, while every ordinary balloon that reaches the top drains a life. So pop with priority: hit the balloons nearest the top edge first, even if a fresh juicy one just rose into view at the bottom.
Train your eye to identify the bomb shape instantly so your finger never lands on it out of reflex, because tapping one ends the round on the spot. Golden balloons are worth triple, so grab them when they appear, but never lunge for one through a cluster where you might clip a bomb. As the spawn rate climbs, resist machine-gun tapping the whole screen — a calm sweep that clears the highest balloons first keeps you alive far longer than greedy chaos.
